Guys…I had the most awesome meditation experience in the tub tonight! (Hey, get your head out of the gutter!) Once in awhile when I need a de-stress/reset time, I really enjoy taking a shower-bath. You know, the time when you lay down in the tub and just let the water pound down on you until your tub is full and you have to let the water out and begin filling again? I just needed some “me-time”
How I Became a Yoga Instructor
This is a post that just may encourage you to follow your dreams, or maybe just your gut. In a previous post, I wrote a little bit about how I became a certified yoga instructor, but recently I found this piece that I wrote for an assignment during my training, and wanted to share it with you.

Sometimes, we just have to take a leap of faith and hope that everything will turn out to be wonderful.
Before we get into the basics of yoga in the next post, let’s start with some of the misconceptions about yoga.
“Yoga is for skinny, pretty people.”

I like to say that we as humans ALL have a SUPER POWER! I was lucky enough to be able to spend a day listening to James Van Praagh speak a couple years ago, and one of his statements that made the most impact on me went something like this, “You can live your life in one of two ways…in fear or in love.”
At that moment, James validated my thinking that we have important choices in life…we can choose to be happy,
